Vijay Krishna Acharya will soon be back with the fourth instalment of "Dhoom" franchise, reports say, but the lead actors haven't been finalised yet.
Earlier reports were doing the rounds that Salman Khan will turn baddie for "Dhoom 4" and now reports suggest that the fourth installment will not star either of the Khans.
With the fourth installment, the makers are going to bring in an interesting cast. The first three films featured John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan in villain's role.
And if reports are to be believed, then in the fourth series Hrithik will play the main antagonist again. Also joining the cast will be none other than Amitabh Bachchan.
"At the moment it is not very clear where Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya) is going with this. All that is confirmed is that Aditya Chopra and Victor have approached and signed Bachchan Saab and Hrithik Roshan," Subhash K Jha quoted a source as saying.
While the makers are yet to make an official statement regarding "Dhoom 4", there were reports that Hrithik, Aditya and Vijay are coming together for a different project.
Meanwhile, grapevine is also abuzz that Salman will play the main antagonist in "Dhoom 4".
"YRF is simultaneously working on two action films; one will be Thug starring Hrithik Roshan and the other one is Dhoom 4. There have been many brain storming sessions regarding the plot of Dhoom 4. However, despite many interesting ideas, they are yet to finalise on one. Everyone from the team is of the opinion that Salman Khan should be a part of Dhoom 4 and take the franchise forward. There are plans to approach Salman Khan once the script is locked," Catch News quoted a source as saying.
