Hewlett Packard (HP) India revealed the prices of its recently announced Slate 6 and Slate 7 VoiceTab, the voice-calling Android tablets, on Thursday.
Slate 6 and Slate 7 have been priced at ₹16,990 and ₹22,990 respectively. Slate 6 features a 6-inch display with 1280x720p, while the Slate 7 sports a 1280x800p 7-inch IPS display. Both tablets run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and house 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. The tablets also support cloud storage of 25GB.
Slate 6 is powered by a 1.2GHz Marvell PXA1088 chipset and comes with 1GB RAM. It is also equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Other features of the Slate 6 tablet include a 3,000mAh battery. It supports connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and GPS. The tablet will be available for purchase in India from Friday.
Slate 7, on the other hand, comes powered by a 1.2GHz Marvell PXA1088 chip and 1GB RAM. It supports dual-SIM functionality with voice-calling and houses a 5 megapixel rear camera, along with 2 megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, Slate 7 supports Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, Micro-USB, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It comes loaded with 4100mAh battery. The availability of tablet has not yet been announced by the company.
