World's top PC maker HP (Hewlett-Packard) announced on Thursday the much-awaited ElitePad 900 into the burgeoning Indian tablet market.
During the launch event, Sunish Raghavan, head, commercial PC category, printing and personal systems group, HP India said, "The tablet replaces primary computing devices and provides an eco-system which addresses the requirements of the enterprise." reported The Times of India.
The new tablet sports a 10.1 LCD display and runs on the latest Windows 8 pro OS.

The new tablet will be sport an aluminum exterior case with Gorilla Glass 2 display protective shield.
HP ElitePad 900 houses a removable battery with eight-hour power backup. It can be further extended to another 11 hour using a secondary battery which can be purchased at an additional ₹5,000 price.
With an expensive price tag, it remains to be seen how HP's ElitePad 900 will be received by the price-conscious Indian tablet market.
