The newly released Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain may be considered one of the best games of the year, but there are certain hidden details about the game that have gone unnoticed. One such detail is a hidden mission 46 that players can unlock.
In case you have already finished the game and have no idea what we are talking about, note that there are plenty of secrets and collectibles in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. But aside all such secret collectibles, there's also a certain mission that exists somewhere in the game.
Apparently, the secret mission 46 actually exists, even though several reports have already debunked it as a myth. However, in order to access the hidden mission, you will first need to meet a host of requirements.
So how exactly do you unlock this secret mission 46? It appears the answer could be hidden in the game's many Easter eggs.
While we are still trying to figure out the hidden mission, we are sure hardcore gamers are already on it. And if you find anything about the hidden mission, let us know in the comments section below.
How to Unlock and Customise Weapons
Again, like most other things in the game, the weapons customisation option in MGS 5 is somewhat hidden.
To unlock weapon customisation, players will first need to beat Side Op #107 "Extract the Legendary Gunsmith." Players will be able to take up this Side Op as soon as they beat story mission 13.
However, as unfortunate as it may sound, due to the way Side Ops are displayed on the selection menu, players might not even see it available until they clear out other Side Ops on the list. Specifically though, players will want to work on the Angola-Zaire Border Region missions.
Once players beat the mission, they will need to beat Side Op #108 "Extract the Legendary Gunsmith Again," which will unlock immediately after they beat #107. Doing so should unlock Side Op #109 "Extract the Legendary Gunsmith Yet Again," which is the last mission in the chain.
Once players complete it, they will be able to customise their weapons from their iDroid interface. To access it, go to "Mother Base", "Customize", "Weapons" and select a gun to craft. New parts will unlock as players create new guns. These can be later used to customise pre-existing weapons, as well.
Stay tuned for more updates!
