New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): A study has revealed that how green tea polyphenols can protect people's brain in case of a spinal cord injury. Polyphenols found in green tea are strong antioxidants and can reduce free radical damage.It also effectively alleviated oxidative stress and inhibits neuronal apoptosis, indicating that green tea polyphenols play a protective role in spinal cord neurons under oxidative stress.
