After eight thrilling episodes of "How to Get Away with Murder" (HTGAWM), the show will finally reveal the reason for Professor Sam Keating's (Tom Verica) death in its winter finale, which will be aired on ABC this Thursday at 10 pm.
The ninth episode of the crime story titled "Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me" will follow a series of events that took place on the dark and stormy bonfire night, which lead to the death of Sam and his student Lila Stangard (Megan West).
Though many speculations are doing the rounds about the mystery behind the twin murder, the cast and crew of "HTGAWM" are being tight lipped regarding the reason behind Sam and Stangard's death.
However, Katie Findlay, who portrays Rebecca Sutter in "HTGAWM", revealed that Sam's murder was not a mistake. "The actual process of how Sam ends up where he ends up is messy and it takes a lot more than one person making weird calls," she told TV Guide.
"It's complex. I'm telling you, really and truly, the process freaked me out. It made me sick to my stomach. It'll freak you out. My hands were shaking a little bit for a couple days. It's pretty intense," she added.
Previously, Matt McGorry, who plays the role of Asher Millstone in the show, said that the winter finale episode will revolve around Sam, Stangard and Sutter.
"Episode 9 will show a little bit more of how that came to be. That's a crazy episode. But yeah, it's such a great shock," he said.
