As the viewers are thrilled with the pilot episode on ABC's new legal series "How to Get Away with Murder" ("HTGAWM"), Viola Davis and her cast mates are getting ready for another plot-changing twist in the next episode.
The Shonda Rhimes' new crime drama, which shook the TV world with two murders of Professor Sam Keating (Tom Verica) and his student Lila Stangard (Megan West) in the premiere episode, will now lead the viewers to the culprits in the upcoming episodes.
"The first few episodes we're gonna focus on the students. We'll learn more about each of the students. But we have a dead body—we have two actually. It's about figuring out how those people died. By the end of the first season you'll find out who killed both of those people and why," creator Pete Nowalk told Entertainment Weekly.
Meanwhile, he also revealed that by the end of the second episode, the viewers will get a fair idea about the culprit. "By the end of the second ep[isode] this will become more clear but the one body leads to the second body. Lila's body will lead to Sam's body," Nowalk teased.
As per the official synopsis of "HTGAWM" episode 2, "Annalise takes on a new client, Max St. Vincent (Steven Weber), an eccentric millionaire who is the key suspect in his wife's brutal murder. All the clues point to St. Vincent as the killer, but Annalise challenges her students to prove he's innocent – whether that's the truth or not. Meanwhile, Annalise deals with issues in her own home when her growing suspicions that Sam (Tom Verica) is somehow involved in Lila's disappearance start to affect their marriage. In flash forwards, we go back to the night of the murder and learn that Wes might be hiding a few secrets of his own," according to KSITE TV.
While all the clues indicate Sam as the culprit of Stangard and Annalise as the suspect in Sam's murder, there are several others, including, Lila's boy friend Griffin O'Reilly (Lenny Platt), Wes's (Alfred Enoch) mysterious neighbour Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay), Annalise's sexy detective Nate Leahy (Billy Brown , Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) and Mysterious Maintenance Man in the list, stated the Entertainment Week.
However, "HTGAWM", which tells the story through a flash forward format might take the viewers to another unexpected twist in the comig episode.
