Salman Khan is well known for gifting expensive items to people who touch his heart, and the latest one to be blessed with such a gesture is his "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" co-star Harshaali Malhotra.
Little Harshaali played the role of a Pakistani mute girl in the movie and like everyone else, Salman Khan too is mighty impressed with her performance. Salman believes that Harshaali has a big role in the success of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and he appreciated her work with an expensive gift.
It has been reported that Salman has promised Harshaali's family that he would give Rs 1.5 crore for the little girl's education. "Salman is really impressed by this little child and he acknowledges her contributions to the success of the film. She had even taken 1 month leave from the school," Daily Bhaskar quoted a source as saying.
However, according to another report, Harshaali's mother has claimed that she has no knowledge of Salman funding her daughter's education. "I am personally not aware of anything like this so I cannot comment on this. Two-three journalists have approached me yesterday and I have said the same thing. No one has informed me so I can't say whether it is true or false. May be he has thought of it but I am not aware of this," Pinkvilla quoted Harshaali's mother as saying.
Before giving a nod to "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Harshaali was offered a cameo role in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". The little girl was to play a younger Sonam Kapoor in the film. Reports suggest that she was also offered to play younger Katrina Kaif in another flick, but her parents finally decided to go for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".
