The third instalment of the "Housefull" franchise is set to entertain the audience, and it will start with a glimpse of the film in its trailer, which will be released on April 24. The makers of "Housefull 3" have planned a grand launch of the trailer, spread across 100 Indian cities.
"Housefull 3" has a strong cast this time as well. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Boman Irani and Lisa Haydon are in the lead roles. The logo of the film was released recently and the poster along with the trailer are expected to be unveiled soon.
It is a treat for the fans as the trailer will be shown to thousands of people across the country in 100 cities. "This is a fan-friendly exercise. It is being done specially to give maximum joy to fans of this franchise. For the first time ever, the trailer of a film will be showcased in more than 100 cities on the big screen at the same time. Fifty thousand fans from across India will get to see it simultaneously, [sic]" a source told the Times of India.
The star cast will be present at a PVR complex in Mumbai on April 24 at 4 p.m. for the trailer launch, but apart from the usual metropolitan cities, a handful of other urban centres will also get to watch the trailer. Gwalior, Kota, Udaipur, Raipur, Rajkot, Surat, Nasik, Patna, Gaya, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Banaras are some of them.
The third instalment is a much-awaited flick, considering the success of the previous two parts.The first two instalments of the comedy series were directed by Sajid Khan, but "Housefull 3" has been directed by Sajid-Farhad Samji. Only Akshay, Boman and Riteish have been retained in all the three parts of the series. "Housefull 3" has a completely new cast, apart from Jacqueline, who was in "Housefull 2."
A major portion of the film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, has been shot in London. It is slated to be released on June 3.
