Akshay Kumar is one of the disciplined and fittest actors in the industry. He has a set routine, which several in the showbiz may find difficult to follow.
The "Housefull 3" actor takes his last meal of the day by 7 p.m. and squeezes in an hour of workout in his packed schedule. "The most important thing is positive thinking. It is important for your aura and there are a few things that I always follow — like eating before 6:30 or 7 pm and working out for one hour every day. That is how I keep myself young too," he told Deccan Chronicle.
Because he is so systematic in life, being punctual comes easy to him. Talking to Catch News, the actor said he learnt the art of being on time from Amitabh Bachchan, who is the most disciplined star in the industry.
The flipside of being so organised is that he ends up being made fun of, but the bright side is he gets to finish at least four films a year and still have time for family and friends. On "The Kapil Sharma Show" Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh talked about Akshay's everyday schedule, occasionally taking jibes at him. However, it was all made in jest and no one took offence.
In other news, "Housefull 3" arrives in theatres on June 3. Directed by Sajid-Farhad, the comic caper stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in key roles. Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey have supporting parts to play in it.
