The makers of "Housefull 3" have released the first-look posters of the film, and so far the response has been good on social media. The team is also planning a massive and never-done-before trailer launch on April 24.
The star cast — Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon — is looking ready for a roller-coaster ride, but there isn't any novel feature in the posters. Hopefully, the trailer will have something new for the fans.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is thrilled about the large-scale trailer launch where as many as 100 cities will get a sketch of what "Housefull 3" is, IANS reported. Apart from the metropolitans, a fair number of B and C towns will witness the release. Gwalior, Kota, Udaipur, Raipur, Rajkot, Surat, Nasik, Patna, Gaya, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Banaras are some of them.
"Housefull 1 and 2 were very successful. I am looking forward to seeing how this one fares in terms of expectations and box-office figures. Since the past few months, I can't remember any film that was a complete family entertainer. Housefull 3 can definitely be seen by people of all age groups," Hindustan Times (April 22, Mumbai edition) quoted Sajid as saying.
Meanwhile, Boman Irani, who is part of the extended star cast, said the plot is "strong" in the third instalment and the narrative is peppered with twists. In his interview with the Press Trust of India, he talked extensively about his experience working with male stars and also director duo Sajid-Farhad, who have done a fair bit of song and script writing since they started out.
"They are very lovely, hardworking and extremely amiable persons, yet very specific in what they require. They used to get the desired results out with great love and affection," Boman further elaborated.
"Housefull 3" opens in theatres June 3.
