The multi-starrer Bollywood movie "Housefull 3" has concluded the first weekend with a brilliant collection at the Indian box office. The movie has surpassed Rs. 50-crore mark in 3 days.
"Housefull 3" is the third instalment in the "Housefull" film series. The success of its previous movies in the franchise had created a lot of expectations from this flick. Its promos had generated a lot of hype around the movie. In addition, the makers had massive promotion for it. The huge hype and promotion helped the film register decent amount of advance bookings for its opening day.
"Housefull 3" was released in 3,700 screens across the domestic market on June 3. The morning and matinee shows witnessed good occupancy. The film garnered positive talk from the audience and the word of mouth took its business upwards in the evening shows. The film collected Rs. 15.21 crore at the Indian box office on the first day.

The Sajid-Farhad-directed comedy became the biggest opener in the "Housefull" film series. "Housefull 3" also became the second-biggest opener of 2016 after "Fan." Now, it has become the highest grossing film in the first weekend in 2016.
