It has been busy few days for smartphone companies as they launched a series of new phones and plan to unveil many more in the days to come. But one brand, in particular, has a packed schedule with more than one launch in just a matter of days. Huawei's sub-brand, Honor, recently unveiled Honor 9N in India and now it unveiled Honor Note 10 in China.
While the company hasn't revealed the Honor Note 10's arrival plans in India, fans needn't be disappointed. Honor has confirmed a launch event in New Delhi on August 6, 2018, where it plans to unveil the Honor Play for the Indian consumers.
Since Honor launches new smartphones in China first and later brings them to India, we can expect the Honor Note 10 to arrive in the future. But that doesn't take away the limelight from Honor Play, which is coming next week.
Honor Play
Honor Play is available in China starting at ¥1,999 (roughly Rs 21,000) for 4GB RAM variant and ¥2,399 (around Rs 25,100) for 6GB RAM model. The handset is likely to be priced around the same range when launched exclusively on Amazon India.
As for the specifications, Honor Play features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. There are dual cameras at the back of the phone, combining 16MP (f/2.2) and 2MP (f/2.4) sensors, and a 16MP front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
Under the hood, Honor Play packs a HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset - same as Honor 10 smartphone, 64GB onboard storage and a 3,750mAh battery with fast charging support. The handset supports dual SIM cards, microSD cards, USB Type-C and 4G VoLTE.
Honor Play also boasts the company's GPU Turbo technology for enhanced graphics performance without any lags. There's also 4D Haptic Feedback for in-game controls, which triggers vibrations based on different in-game actions like explosions, gunfire and more. In addition, Honor Play comes with a dedicated NPU, which ensures seamless AI computing under the hood.
