Huawei's subsidiary Honor in a bid to get a head start in the highly competitive budget smartphone plans to bring the new Honor 10 Lite to India as early as next week.
Honor 10 Lite is already available in China and will come to India on 15 January. Flipkart has opened the official promotional page, meaning the device is likely to available exclusively on the latter's e-commerce.
As the name suggests, the new phone will replace the popular Honor 9 Lite in India. It comes with huge upgrades in almost all aspects such as the design, processor, battery and camera.
Honor 9 Lite: First impression
I have been using the Honor 10 Lite for close to a week, and have to pretty impressed with the over-all aspects of the phone. It sports the new industry standard water-drop notch design having more than 91% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with 6.21-inch full HD+ (2280x1080p) screen on the front, and on the back, it flaunts sturdy shell with a glossy finish. The phone will be initially offered in black, blue and sky blue with gradient finish models.
Under-the-hood, it comes with Android Pie-based EMUI 9 powered by Kirin 710 octa-core processor with 4GB/6GB LPDDRX4 RAM, 64GB storage and a 3,400mAh battery, which is more than enough to easily last one and half day under mixed usage.
As far as the photography hardware is concerned, it comes with 13MP+2 dual Artificial Intelligence (AI) dual cameras on the back. It takes pretty good shots under the natural bright light conditions and also when AI is enabled, the picture quality gets optimised in terms of making the subjects such as flowers more colourful best suited for sharing on social media channels.
Even the front 24MP AI selfie shooter too does its job decently, but I need more time to assess the camera in various light conditions. I will be posting a detailed review of the Honor Lite 10 in the coming week.
