Honda Cars India Ltd introduced on Thursday an all-new Brio model with a 5-speed Automatic Transmission at a price tag starting ₹5.74 lakhs.
The Honda Brio AT packs a 1.2 liter i-VTEC engine which develops 87 bhp powers at 6000 rpm and 110 Nm torque at 4,500 rpm with a five speed automatic transmission system. The demand for the automatic cars in Indian market is on the rise and the latest offering from Honda is priced nearly ₹75,000 more than the manual version.

According to a company statement, the newly launched Brio AT expects to churn a fuel efficiency of 16.5 kilometres per litre. It comes equipped with power adjustable outside rear view mirrors along with front and rear mud guards. With the latest Brio AT, Honda will now offer a range of seven Brios to its customers which include E MT, EX MT, S MT, S(O) MT, S(O) AT, V MT and V AT.
Brio AT packs safety features like dual SRS front airbags, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) which prevents wheel locking and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD). Brio S (O) AT is priced ₹5.74 lakh and V AT is priced at ₹5.99 lakh. The company also unveiled a new manual transmission variant EX MT, which is priced at ₹4.26 lakhs.
