Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India launched its new two-wheeler Navi in the domestic market at the Auto Expo 2016. The latest news is that Navi has garnered 500 online bookings in India within two weeks of its entry into the market.
Targeting the young buyers in India with Navi, Honda has opened the bookings for its two-wheeler crossover through Navi App. A report of the Hindu Business Line reveals that the Navi bookings in India have crossed 500. The Navi, indeed a new kind of two-wheeler with its naval but odd look, has been priced at Rs 39,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The delivery of the Navi is expected to begin in April this year.
Honda Navi, the first product to be conceived, designed, developed and validated in India by Honda's R&D, comes in five colour options -- Red, green, white, orange and black. It draws power from 109cc 4-stroke, SI engine, which can churn out 7.83bhp of power @ 7,000rpm and 8.96Nm of peak torque at 5,500Nm.
In terms of dimensions, the Navi measures 1805mm in length, 748mm in width, 1039mmin height and has a wheelbase of 1286mm. It has a kerb weight of 101kg and gets a fuel tank of 3.8 litres. The Navi gets telescopic suspension in the front and hydraulic at the rear.
The Navi, which is styled to look like a bike with the convenient of a scooter, will be offered in three variants -- Street, Adventure and Off-road.
