Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has added new shades to the colour palette of the 110cc motorcycle, Livo. The Livo motorcycle, which made its market entry in July 2015, is celebrating its first anniversary in the country.
Honda has sold 2.5 lakh units of the Livo in India since its launch and the motorcycle, with the addition of two new colours â€" Imperial Red Metallic and Matte Axis Gray Metallic â€" is now available in six colours. The exiting colours of the Livo include Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic and Black.
"In the past 12 months, the Livo successfully went against the wind and outperformed, while the 100-110cc segment was under stress and faced a negative growth. With 2.5 lakh units sold in a year, Livo is now Honda's best-selling motorcycle in the segment & the new exciting colour options will further enhance Livo's sporty character and youth appeal," said YS Guleria, Senior Vice President â€" Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. The Livo, which replaced Honda's CB Twister in India, comes powered by a 110cc, air-cooled stroke, SI motor which is tuned to pump out 8.2bhp of power and 8.63Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to 4-speed gearbox and promises a mileage of 74kmpl. It gets Honda Eco Tech (HET) and comes in two variants â€" Self Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy.
The features list of the Livo includes a single angular head-lamp unit and the Dream-series inspired analogue instrument console of odometer, speedometer and fuel gauge. Other features are chrome heat shield, Twister-inspired red suspension springs, alloy wheels, a small exhaust muffler and brake light.
Honda Livo is retailed at a price tag of Rs. 56,004 (Livo Disc) and Rs. 53,501 (Livo Drum).
