Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) launched Celebration editions of its popular compact sedan Amaze and Mobilio MPV.
The special edition is purely cosmetic upgrade -- new body graphics and celebratory theme on the exterior. The interior is spruced up with premium upholstery, including designer seat covers and cushions. The Celebration editions will only be offered in Taffeta White and Orchid White Pearl paint schemes.
Speaking about the special edition, HCIL senior vice-president (marketing and sales) Jnaneswar Sen said, "We are delighted to introduce the new 'Celebration Edition' of Amaze and Mobilio to our customers to celebrate the upcoming festivities in the country. Our endeavor is to provide element of freshness to our products which would excite our customers."
The Celebration Edition won't have any mechanical changes. The petrol engine of Amaze is 1198cc, i-VTEC unit developing 87bhp power and 109Nm torque mated to a choice of 5-speed manual or automatic transmissions. Mobilio is powered by 1497cc, i-VTEC petrol engine developing 117bhp power and 145Nm torque mated 5-speed manual transmission.
The diesel variants of both the vehicles are powered by 1498cc i-DTEC unit that develops 99bhp power and 200Nm torque mated to 5-speed manual transmission.
