The month of July is already upon us and from the auto industry, it promises to open up to another phase of intriguing revs on Indian roads. Three of the leading auto makers, Honda, Hyundai and Maruti are rolling up their sleeves to launch their new cars and auto aficionados can certainly be assured of exciting days as we breach the half-year mark.

So, here we are with the most anticipated cars of July.
New Honda Jazz (8 July)
In July, Honda's new Jazz will be the first to come out of the blocks to join the league of Hyundai Elite i20 and Maruti Swift in India. The new Honda Jazz will be presented to its fans in the country on 8 July with a sticker price expected in the range of ₹5.5 lakh to ₹7.1 lakh (ex-showroom).
New Honda Jazz is expected to be offered in five variants (E, S, SV, V and VX) and will come in petrol and diesel engine options. Not to forget, this is the first model in the Jazz line-up to come with diesel engine. Under the hood, New Jazz will get 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio and can generate power of 90bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque.

Hyundai Creta (21 July)
South Korean maker Hyundai will be pulling the wraps off its much-awaited ix25 based compact SUV Creta in India on 21 July. Hyundai Creta, a model that will be poised to rival against Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano is speculated be priced in the range of ₹8-₹12 lakh.
To be offered in four variants, Base, S, SX and SX (O), Hyundai Creta will pack 1.6-litre VTVT petrol, 1.6-litre U2 CRDi and 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel mills. While 1.4l diesel can churn out 90PS of power and 220Nm of torque with 6-speed manual transmission, 1.6l petrol is tuned to make 123PS of power and 154Nm torque with 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.6l diesel with a 6-speed automatic transmission has the capacity to generate 128PS of power and 260Nm of torque.
Maruti S-Cross
Maruti, a trusted brand for small cars in India, has decided to up the ante with the launch of new cars in the big car segments. Maruti S-cross, one of the most awaited and desired cars of the year is expected to hit the Indian showrooms by July-end. S-Cross, the model based on SX4 S-Cross, is Maruti's first entrant in the crossover segment and thus, the expectations are also high.
Under the hood, Maruti S-Cross is expected to get 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines in its engine line-up. The 1.6-litre diesel engine will have the capacity to churn out a power of 118bhp with a peak torque of 32kgm and the transmission is likely to come from a six-speed manual gearbox.
To be pitted against Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport in India, the S-Cross will be priced at around ₹8 lakh.
