Honda Cars India (HCIL) launched a new variant of the City sedan christened as VX(O) BL. The new variant comes with all-black interior to attract the younger audience, a company statement said.
Positioned alongside the regular VX (O), the new trim comes in Premium White Orchid Pearl and Alabaster Silver colours. The new variant also boasts of sunroof and touchscreen audio visual navigation.
Along with the introduction of the new variant, HCIL tightened the security features on the City. All the variants of the sedan is now equipped with dual airbags as standard fitment. This is in addition to standard Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD). The company has also introduced rear ISOFIX and top tether anchor for child seats as standard equipment in the City.

There are no mechanical or visual changes in the new City variant and the sedan continues to draw power from 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which develops 117bhp and 145Nm of torque mated to five-speed manual and CVT gearbox. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine develops 99bhp and 200Nm of torque mated to six-speed manual transmission.
