Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched CB Shine SP for a starting price of Rs 59,000. the motorycle will be sold in three trims. The SP stands for the "Smart Power" technology that offers engine start and stop technology, which shuts off the engine in idle contition and restarts when the clutch is pressed.
The Honda CB Shine SP has been positioned above the current CB Shine as a premium product. The motorcycle features tweaked body panels of the regular Shine which adds sportiness to the whole design. The motorcycle features silver side cowls similar to the CB Unicorn 160, black grab rails, new alloy wheels, new decals on the fuel tank and a new headlamp cluster.

The new Honda CB Shine SP 125 is powered by the same 124.73cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that also does the duty in the regular Shine, developing 10.57bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The new addition to the mechanical department is the five-speed gearbox. The regular Shine is equipped with four-speed transmission.
The CB Shine SP measures 2,007mm in length, 762mm in width, 1085mm in height and 1266mm wheelbase. The motorcycle boasts of 160mm ground clearance, 124 kg kerb weight and a 10.5-litre petrol tank.
The Honda CB Shine SP 125 is available in five colours: Athletic Blue Metallic, Geny Grey Metallic, Black, Pearl Amazing White and Rebel Red Metallic.
