Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has achieved a new milestone with its popular offering CB Shine 125. India's bestselling 125cc motorcycle for the past eight years has now crossed the 1 lakh sales in a month landmark in April.
CB Shine 125cc, which is celebrating its 11th anniversary in the country, has grown by a phenomenal 51 percent from 66,691 units in April 2016 to 1,00,824 units in April 2017. CB Shine has also gained an impressive 15 percent market share on year on year (y-o-y) basis and is leading with 54 percent market share in this segment in April 2017.
The brand is contributing over 55 percent in Honda's motorcycle sales and the numbers have catapulted Honda 2Wheelers India to the No. 2 motorcycle brand in India for the first time in April.

Honda recently updated the CB Shine in India with BS-IV engine and features like AHO. CB Shine gets the same 125cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine, which can churn out 10.16bhp of power and 10.30Nm of torque.
