It appears like the launch of Honda's much-awaited CB Hornet 160R is just around the corner. The latest buzz that is whirling on the internet is that the bike maker could launch its new 160cc motorcycle in the Indian market as early as in November.
A report of Oncars.in reveals that Honda is planning to launch a new bike in India on 19 November and this is a possible indication that the much-awaited CB Hornet could be on its way to the Indian market. Though it is not known which of the Honda bikes that have been rumoured will be launched, reports suggest that it is going to be the CB Hornet, which was unveiled at Honda RevFest in August. Rumours are also doing the rounds that Honda is likely to pull the wraps off a new 125cc motorcycle.
For the uninitiated, Honda CB Hornet, a 160cc motorcycle will come powered by a 162.71cc, single-cylinder engine that can churn out 14.5Bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14.61Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The same engine also does duty on the CB Unicorn. The Honda CB Hornet 160R, which takes design cues from CX-01 concept that made its debut at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo will come mated to 5 speed gear box and is expected to come with Honda eco technology (HET).
To be pitted against Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache, Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Yamaha FZ in india, CB Hornet from the house of Honda will feature muscular fuel tank, digital meter, X-shaped LED tail-lamp and wire Rear Tyre.
