After Onam, Malayalam film industry has become lively again with the release of three films on 26 September.
"Homely Meals" directed by Anoop Kannan, "Money Rathnam" directed by Santhosh Nair and "Central Theatre" directed by Kiran Narayanan are set to lock horns on Friday.
All these are experimental films with some unconventional storylines and concepts, and will also introduce some fresh bunch of actors.

"Homely Meals"
"Homely Meals" is directed by Anoop Kannan of "Jawan of Vellimala" (2012) fame. The film will see debutant Vipin Atley in the lead role Allen, who has a great passion towards cinema. Interestingly, the film is said to have almost fifty new comers.
The director of the film has earlier said that the characters are imbibed from real life and the stardom is not the criteria as the actors are chosen carefully.
The team had earlier come up with an innovative trailer, which was taken from various films and had grabbed the attention of the audiences.
"Homely Meals" is said to be an in and out entertainer and has Srindha Ashab, Manoj K. Jayan, Nedumudi Venu, Kailash, Sudheer Karamana, Joju, Neeraj Madhav and Sijoy Varghese in pivotal roles.
The screenplay of "Homely Meals" is done by Vipin and the cinematography is handled by Georgy Joseph. The film is produced by Hussain and Illias Zakkariya under the banner of Recaro Pictures.
"Money Rathnam"
"Money Rathnam", touted as a comedy thriller, directed by debutant Santhosh Nair has Fahadh Faasil and Niveda Thomas in the lead.
Fahadh plays the character of Neil John Samuel and Niveda plays the role of Pia, who is the love interest of Neil.
Neil is an executive in a car showroom, who is engaged to Piya, who is a bold girl and a social worker. The film revolves around a series of events happening in a span of 24 hours and is about a journey, which the characters undertake to get a particular job done.
The teaser of the film shows all characters chasing for the most exquisite diamond, "Green Gerald", which cost close to $5 Million in Belgium market. What follows is a series of events that changes their lives.
The film also has Joju George, Renji Panicker and Tamil comedy actress Aarthi Ganeshan in important roles.
"Money Rathnam" is scripted by Anil Narayanan and Ajith C Lokesh, whereas the cinematography is done by Neil D' Cunha. The music of the film is composed by Prashant Pillai.
"Money Rathnam" is produced by Raju Mathew and is the 100th film by Century Films.
"Central Theatre"
"Central Theatre", written and directed by Kiran Narayanan is touted as a suspense thriller. The plot of the film revolves around a series of events in a film theatre.
The entire story happens in a span of six hours and is told in three different perspectives, in four different chapters. The film stars Hemanth Menon and Sidhartha Siva in pivotal roles.
The other cast includes Arun, Fayiz Salman, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, Majid, V K Baiju, Sunil Vikram, Anjali Upasana, Arunima, Prathyusha, Ambika Mohan, Kalady Omana, Stella, Master Chetan, and Master Abhina.
The cinematography of the film is done by Sunil Kaimanam and the music is composed by Ramesh Narayanan. This thriller film is produced by Thaaraka Productions.
