It seems Quinn finally manages to survive and comes out of coma while Qasim helps Carrie and Saul prevent a gas attack by terrorists in the season finale episode of "Homeland" titled "A False Glimmer."
CLICK HERE to watch how Quinn survives the attack and in what way Qasim helps put an end to the terrorists' threat regarding the gas attack.
As seen in the promo of the episode, due to some unexplained reason the Berlin Hauptbahnof train station is not bombed, as the terrorists had threatened.
It seems Qasim, who was hiding the terrorists' cell, realises his mistake and reveals the plans to Carrie.
Also, Qasim might visit Quinn in hospital and thank him for trusting him to stop the attack.
In the previous episode titled "Our Man in Damascus" Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul (Mandy Patinkin) asked doctors to revive Quinn (Rupert Friend) to query him for information on the impending terrorist attack, but Quinn was unresponsive and went into respiratory arrest.
When Carrie was told Quinn's bullet wound was expertly treated, she began asking her contacts for information on an underground doctor in the area where Quinn went missing.
Following a tip from Al-Amin, she tracked down Dr Hussein, who brought Carrie to Qasim's apartment where the terrorist cell had been residing.
In the apartment, Carrie found extensive research on the Hauptbahnhof train station and headed there to investigate.
Saul tried to coax information out of Faisal Marwan, who had been detained by the BND and subjected to harsh interrogations.
Laura Sutton (Sarah Sokolovic) did a live television interview and demanded that she be allowed to see Faisal immediately, or else she would release the remaining classified CIA documents in her possession.
Saul was summoned away to watch the interview. He returned and found that Faisal had jumped out of the window and killed himself.
