Literally anything can become a reality show, proves E! by making a series on Tyler Henry, a 19-year-old boy who does everything a teenager would do, along with talking to dead people.
Much like TLC's "Long Island Medium", E!'s "Hollywood Teen Medium", will follow the main characters around as he tries to bring peace and closure to his clients. However, the show's description, that it would follow Tyler as "he balances his unique abilities with trying to be a regular teenager", gives it a Disney Show-like air to it. (Refer: "Hannah Montana", "Wizards of Waverly Place" or more precisely ABC's "Sabrina the Teenage Witch").
Tyler's clients, as the working title suggests, are going to be the who's who of Hollywood. "This series adds a new layer of mystery and intrigue to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood that our audience is so passionate about," says Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Development of E!, Jeff Olde.
The creators are hoping that Tyler's "innocent charm" would put the celebrities at ease, and open their minds to accept his messages of hope and in some cases forgiveness. The show would be appealing to the masses because they will get to see many of their favourite celebrities open up about their lives, and speak about their personal struggles.
And it looks like Snookie, a popular member of the "Jersey Shore" crew, will be Tyler's first client on the show. Michael Corbett, who is among the creators of "Hollywood Teen Medium" tweeted a picture from the location of the pilot, which featured Snookie, along with Tyler, and captioned it: "On Location shooting my new pilot w/amazing @tyhenrymedium Terrific @snooki stopped by. @44blue Great day!!"
congrats to @1michaelcorbett and Larry Stern for selling "Hollywood Teen Medium" to E! http://t.co/i96HIIAOpP pic.twitter.com/nKeT4VjjAi

As of now, there is no information on when the series will start airing, but the eight-episode hour-long series will definitely get a slot in the E! TV schedule, hopefully in the coming season.
