Netflix and chill is perhaps the most common term we hear on a day to day basis! Netflix Originals has proven to be a hit in so many countries across the globe. No wonder, so many Bollywood and Hollywood stars are making their incredible debuts on the platform.
Catching up with the fad, Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth is all set to make his Netflix debut with an action-thriller set in India. The movie has supposedly been named 'Dhaka' and Hemsworth will be seen rescuing a kidnapped Indian boy. The movie will be a directorial debut of Sam Hargrave and is written by Joe Russo. Joe Russo is one of the famous Russo Brothers, who had recently helmed Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.
Talking about the film, Chris recently said, "If you were shocked by [Infinity War], I think the second one is even more shocking, for other reasons entirely, that's what kind of blew me away the first time I read both scripts, is how they managed to orchestrate so many different characters but give them each their own separate shot and moments, and have it be elevated and feel fresh and unique—not just like a messy, thrown-together assembly of these guys."
Dhaka appears to be a Marvel reunion as Joe Russo and Chris Hemsworth come together for this film after Marvel's 'Avenger's: Infinity War'.
In the film, Hemsworth will be taking up the role of an action hero, while he attempts to liberate a kidnapped Indian boy who is being hidden in Dhaka. Physically brave but an emotional coward, the hero (Hemsworth) will have to come to terms with his identity and sense of self, time and again.
Hemsworth seems to have a lot of movies in his pocket lately as the actor is currently doing a post-production for Drew Goddard's Bad Times. He has two other projects lined up - the untitled Avengers movie and the spy thriller MIB.
For an action-crazy audience on Netflix, Chris Hemsworth's debut can make all the difference.
