Indians across the globe are getting ready to celebrate Holi, the festival of colours or sharing love, and Google is here to add more colour to it. The search giant is offering its current flagship smartphone, the Nexus 5X, with a huge discount during the festive season.
Google has given Rs. 4,000 discount on the Nexus 5X, and the offer runs till March 27, four days after the Holi festival ends. The 16GB variant of the Nexus 5X is now available for Rs. 23,990 as against the current price of Rs. 27,990 on Google Store, and the 32GB model is priced at Rs. 27,990 as against Rs. 31,990.
The device had a price tag of Rs. 31,990 for the 16GB model and Rs. 35,990 for the 32GB variant at the time of the launch. Unlike the Nexus 5 (2013) that was discontinued without a single price cut, the Nexus 5X received price slashes by Google and other carriers. It was available for just Rs. 20,990 during the Amazon Great Indian Sale 2016 in January.
However, there is no Holi offer for the Nexus 6P that was released along with the Nexus 5X in October last year.
Google Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (423 ppi pixel density), measures 147x72.6x7.9 mm dimension and weighs 136 g. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow), a 16/32GB internal memory (no microSD card slot), a 2GB RAM , a 12.3MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture and a non-removable Li-Po 2,700mAh battery.
