India is set to celebrate the festival of colours on Friday, 6 March and people in different parts of the country are busy shopping for the festival.

Holi, which marks the beginning of Spring season, is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March every year. It also marks the victory of good over evil.

The ancient Hindu festival has now also spread to different parts of the world, including Europe and North America, Malaysia, Brazil, South Africa and many other places.

Meanwhile, this year, there are a few people who prefer to shop online fearing the H1N1 virus. Swine flu death toll has reached 1,075 and nearly 20,000 people have tested positive for the virus in India.
