Three people were arrested on Wednesday for misbehaving with an air hostess on an IndiGo flight, and one of the accused is reportedly a leader of a Hindu Mahasabha.
The three passengers were allegedly drunk.
An FIR was filed against three passengers for allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess on IndiGo's Coimbatore-Chennai flight, according to ANI news agency. They allegedly tried to click pictures of the air hostess and then confronted the crew when they objected.
The Coimbatore police arrested the three after the incident was reported on Wednesday night, according to reports.
Subash Swaminathan, leader of political group 'Akila Bharatha Hindu Maha Sabha Katchi' was among the accused, along with two advocates, as per reports.
The Hindu Mahasabha leader has been remanded to 15-day judicial custody, while the other two have been granted bail, ANI reported.
