Hike Messenger, a free online social messaging mobile app, has announced its first online hackfest in India, the HikeAthon. Software app developers across India have been invited to participate and win lakhs in prize money.
Scheduled from 19-22 December , 2014, Hike will be a platform for all young enthusiasts to showcase their passion and skill to build beautiful and simple mobile apps.

Participants can win up to Rs. 10 Lacs in cash and goodies. The top cash prize is of Rs. 500,000 and the participants also have a chance to win iPads and spend a day with the Hike team.
Participation at the event is free and enthusiasts must register in advance. Interested teams need to sign up at http://hike.in/hikeathon.
The event will start from December 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. IST, and will continue till December 22, 9:00 a.m. IST. Developers can show their mobile development prowess on Android, iOS and Windows phone platforms.
