"Heropanti", which features newcomers, has shattered the records of several films released this year including "Dedh Ishqiya", "Bewakoofiyaan" and "Gulaab Gang" among others. And now it's eyeing to break the records of "Hasee Toh Phasee", "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" and "Yaariyan."

"Heropanti" box office result is pretty good, but the film and the lead actor Shroff received nasty comments on social networking sites. However, the actor is not bothered about it.

"I would have been bothered, if any of it were true. But I know people are being mean for the heck of it. It's part of the game. I'd rather not retaliate. I'd like to let my work speak for me. The numbers for Heropanti are speaking to me," Shroff told Bollywood Hungama.

Hollywood film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" starring Hugh Jackman also finished its first week run in Indian markets. Bryan Singer's directorial film has managed to rake in ₹26 crore from its first week run in India. The seven days total is from Hindi, Tamil, English and Telugu versions of the film.

"#XMen Days Of Future Past Mon 3 cr, Tue 2.60 cr, Wed 2.30 cr, Thu 2.10 cr. Total: ₹26.60 cr nett [English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu]. GOOD!" Adarsh tweeted.

With new releases opening to dull response, "Heropanti" and "X-Men" are expected to lead the box office this week also.
