Hero MotoCorp's new Passion Pro with iSmart technology is now available at the company's dealerships for a price of Rs 51,653, suggest emerging reports. Although the company has not announced the launch of the new Passion Pro iSmart, images showing the model at different dealerships have emerged online.
Hero is updating its models in India with the i3S technology. The company's patented i3S technology was introduced in 2014 on Splendor i3S. It automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed with just one click.
Coming back to Passion Pro, from the images that we have seen so far, Passion Pro iSmart would look the same as the current model in its styling and design and is expected to get features like digital analog combo metre console, side stand indicator, six-spoke wheels, body-coloured mirrors and body decals.
The power is expected to come from the same air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke 110cc engine, which is tuned to churn out 8.9bhp at 7,500rpm and 9Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. With the iSmart technology, Passion Pro is expected to deliver better mileage than the current model.
The company recently updated its Achiever 150 with i3S technology. The new Achiever 150 has been priced at Rs 61,800. Available in three new metallic colours, the new achiever gets BS IV compliant 150cc engine, which is tuned to churn out 13.4bhp power and 12.8Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Hero is also expected to bring Glamour in the iSmart avatar. Hero had confirmed earlier that the company has plans to launch 15 new products in the Indian market this fiscal.
