Hero MotoCorp has confirmed that the company has plans to launch 15 new products in the Indian market this fiscal. Of the 15 new offerings, the company will roll out the three models during this festive season to cash in on the auspicious time.
The first motorcycle to come out off the block will be the new version of the Achiever 150. The all-new Achiever 150 is expected to be launched in the country in September. The launch will be followed by 125cc Super Splendor and 100cc Passion Pro. While the features of the upgraded models of Hero are yet to be known, it is said that all the above said models will now get Hero's i3S technology. It is believed that the 15 launches is also likely to include new scooter models.
"The company will launch 15 new products across segments in its domestic and global markets this fiscal, out of which three motorcycles will be introduced in the domestic market before the festive season. These include the new Achiever 150cc motorcycle and the Super Splendor and Passion PRO with the Hero patented i3S technology," the company said.
The i3S technology automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed with just one click. It also helps in delivering better mileage. The company introduced the i3S technology in 2014 in the Hero Splendor iSmart.
In August, Hero MotoCorp reported a growth of 28 percent to 6.16 lakh units as against 4.80 lakh two wheelers sold during the corresponding month last year.
