Hero MotoCorp's new 110cc scooters Duet and Maestro Edge are scheduled to break the cover in India on 29 September. Now, days ahead of its official launch in the country, the official brochures of Hero Maestro Edge have been leaked on the web, revealing all key specifications and other details of the scooter.
The auto buffs at MotorBeam have managed to lay their hands on the official brochures of Maestro Edge and according to them, the new 110cc scooter of Hero is powered by 110.9cc single-cylinder engine. The engine, which is tuned to dish out a power of 8.34 PS at 8000 RPM and a peak torque of 8.30 Nm at 6500 RPM, comes mated to a CVT transmission.
In terms of dimensions, Hero Maestro Edge measures 1,840 mm in length, 695 mm in width, 1,190 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm. The kerb weight of the new scooter stands at 110 kg.
To be offered in two variants -- LX and VX -- Hero Maestro Edge will be available in seven body paints: Pearl Silver White, Panther Black, Shooting Night Star, Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue, Matt Vernier Grey and Matte Blue.
As for features, the leaked brochures reveal that the Maestro Edge will get telescopic front suspension, external fuel filler, 12-inch front alloy wheel, tubeless tyres, integrated braking, digi-analogue instrument console with service reminder, mobile charging port, , immobiliser and LED taillight and under-seat storage compartment lamp. Other features of Maestro Edge include rear luggage hook, magnet holder and sensor.
As for pricing, the new hero offering is expected to be priced at around Rs 55,000.
