It looks like Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch its new HF Dawn commuter motorcycle in India. A new prototype of Hero Dawn has been snapped while undergoing test runs in the country, suggesting that the launch of the model is on the card.
Dubbed Dawn 125, the new Dawn commuter motorcycle is likely to be powered by a125cc single-cylinder engine, which can churn out 9.1bhp of power and 10.35Nm of torque with four-speed gearbox.
In the images posted by Gaadiwaadi, the new Dawn 125 is seen with a significant amount of camouflage; however, the bike seems to have undergone a major makeover. The camouflaged fuel tank of the new Dawn 125 is an indication of its-re-styling.
From a visual stand point, the Dawn 125 also seemed to have got the round head lamp and Hero Glamour styled tail piece and side cowl. Other features include a two-pot analogue instrument cluster and foot rests on sides.
The motorcycle seems to have missed out disc brakes or alloy wheels as part of cost-cutting.
The Dawn 125, which is likely to target rural markets, is expected to be launched in this fiscal.
