Hero MotoCorp has already confirmed that the company is planning to bring three models to India during the festive season this year and the first one to come out of the block will be the Achiever in its new form.
Now a set of images of the Hero Glamour has started doing the rounds, hinting that the motorcycle could be a part of Hero's festive season offerings. Caught on camera by GaadiWaadi, the test mule of Hero Glamour was spied while undergoing tests in the country. While the details of the upcoming new Glamour are not known yet, the publisher of the original photographs states that the company would extend its iSmart technology to the Glamour motorcycles too.
Hero, which introduced the i3S technology in 2014 in the Hero Splendor iSmart, will also equip the Passion Pro with i3S technology. The i3S technology automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed with just one click. It also helps in delivering better mileage.
In the iSmart avatar too, the Glamour is expected to get the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine with four-speed gearbox. Hero Glamour churns out a power of 9bhp and a peak torque of 10.35Nm. In terms of dimensions, the Glamour measures 2,005mm in length, 735mm in width, and 1,070mm in height and comes with a wheelbase of 1,265mm. The braking is taken care of by a disc brake at the front and drum at the rear.
The Glamour is likely to remain untouched in terms of style and design, but there could be minor cosmetic updates such as body graphics.
