Looks like Hero MotoCorp is ready to roll out its new 110cc scooter Dash for its Indian fans. The scooter has been spied undergoing tests in the country for the first time, throwing clear indication that the launch is not too far.
Snapped by GaadiWaadi, the Dash scooter is seen camouflaged in the picture. It was at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo that two wheeler lovers in the country got the first glimpse of Dash scooter and now it looks like work is apace on the 110cc offering. The scooter is designed to target mainly the male buyers in the country.
Dash, Hero's answer to Honda Activa, Yamaha Alpha and TVS Jupiter and will sit above Hero Maestro. Powered by 111cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine, which can churn out a power of 8.44 bhp and a peak toque of 9.4 Nm, Dash gets telescopic forks at the front. Riding on 90/90/12 front and 90/90/10 rear tyres with alloy wheels, Dash features drum brakes both in the front and rear. It comes with Hero MotoCorp's integrated braking system.
The feature list of the scooter includes mobile charging socket, low fuel and service due indicators, digital instrument console and under-seat storage space light .The scooter is likely to reach the showrooms this year and going by the words around the web, Hero Dash is likely to get a price tag in the ₹55,000 brackets.
