Tiger Shroff has always been very expressive about his fondness for his idol, Hrithik Roshan. The young star has even admitted to have taken references from "Krrish 3" (third instalment in Hrithik's superhero franchise) that helped him be the goofy caped-crusader in "A Flying Jatt."
Talking to the media, Tiger said director Remo D'Souza was clear that he wanted him to play an original superhero, without taking inspiration from the existing ones. "I just wanted to study Hrithik sir's body language when he is running, or how he stands in the costume," he further elaborated.
Right after the first-look poster was released last year, there were parallels being drawn between "A Flying Jatt" and the "Krrish" series. A few months ago, Tiger put a lid on all such comparisons with the perfect answer.
The young actor explained that first, he is much younger to Drona and Krrish; second, he doesn't have the kind of powers these two have. What's interesting is that Tiger wants a crossover in "A Flying Jatt." He has even spoken to Remo to get Krrish to do a special appearance in the film.
"A Flying Jatt" will not just see Tiger as the crime-fighting, life-saving hero, but also as a lover. "In A Flying Jatt you will get to see a lot of dancing. You can't even imagine what can Remo Sir and I do together in dancing. A Flying Jatt is like an ABCD 3 + a superhero film," Catch News quoted Tiger as saying.
To open in theatres on Aug. 25, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nathan Jones and Amrit Singh in key roles. "Toota Jo Kabhi Tara," "Beat Pe Booty" and the title track are out and have been received well by listeners.
