Shah Rukh Khan has been arriving on the sets of "Raees" much before his call time, and it might be because he has to wrap it up by May end.
Although there hasn't been any official announcement by the makers, a Bollywood Life report states that the unit intends to avoid the monsoon season as most portions of the film need to be shot outdoors. Apparently, 80% of the film will be completed by the end of this month.
SRK is not known to be a morning person and therefore daytime shoots are not for him. However, the superstar has been making efforts to reach before time, spending most of it reading and talking to people around.
"When he reached early for the first time, the team panicked as they thought they made a coordination error. However, after they spoke to his team, they breathed a sigh of relief," DNA quoted a source as saying.
To add to this, he also has been shooting for extra hours every day.
"The shoot has been going fantastic! Shah Rukh has been taking the energy on sets a notch higher. He has been reaching early, interacting with everyone on sets, shooting for extra hours," confirmed the spokesperson of "Raees".
The film apparently is being shot at a lavish set, which brings Ahmedabad of the 80s to life. It also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddique in key roles.
"Rahul (Dholakia) liked her. She suited the film a lot. I have seen a little bit part of her television stuff. I have met her and she is marvellous actor," SRK told IANS, early January.
In other news, Shah Rukh has wrapped up Maneesh Sharma's "Fan", and will begin Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" in June. Slated for a Christmas release, the action-comedy stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in significant roles.
