Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan share a good bond, but the diva skipped the "Sultan" actor's Eid party that was held at his residence. It has been reported that Katrina didn't want her presence at Salman's house to become the talk of the town, and decided against attending the bash.
According to DNA, Katrina instead went to Karan Johar's residence. Karan and Katrina are getting along fabulously these days. Is Katrina in talks with Dharma Production for a film? It was said that KJo had avoided the "Fitoor" actress after she parted ways with Ranbir Kapoor.
However, Katrina, who recently attended the special screening of "Sultan," surprised everyone by giving Salman's Eid party a miss. The event was attended by many other celebrities from Bollywood, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Randeep Hooda and Daisy Shah.
In fact, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora, who have reportedly parted ways, appeared at the event together and also posed for pictures. Along with Eid, Salman had another reason to celebrate — the successful opening of his film "Sultan" at the box office.
Salman's performance in the film has been appreciated by the audience, critics and celebrities alike. It is being hailed as the actor's best performance so far. The Ali Abbas Zafar-directed movie also features Anushka Sharma in the role of a wrestler, like Salman.
It was being said earlier that Salman might star opposite Katrina in a film again. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, the "Sultan" director is apparently keen to rope in Katrina in a film. Ali and Katrina have worked together in "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan."
"Yes I would definitely love to do a film with Katrina without a doubt not because she is my friend because I just feel that at least when I made a film with her, she and I kind of connected at a different level and that connection went into the audience. Lot of people liked Katrina in 'Mere Brother ki Dulhan'," Ali told Bollywood Life.
