Bollywood actresses praising each other are a rare sight to witness. Anushka Sharma recently appreciated Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone for their work in Hollywood.
Anushka, who will be seen in "Sultan" opposite Salman Khan, expressed her desire to do Hollywood films, but has a condition. "Everything that I am going to do as an actress doesn't matter where it's coming from. It just has to be interesting. I don't want to go and play a cliched Indian girl. The cliches are there, so if I do something, it has to be interesting. What Priyanka and Deepika are doing is amazing. More power to them," Anushka told IANS.
"They are representing our country in a way and they are making more opportunities for other people. It's awesome, but I am not working towards it," she added. Anushka's ex-boyfriend Ranveer Singh's current girlfriend, Deepika, will be seen in her Hollywood debut, "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." She will share screen space with several international stars like Vin Diesel, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose.
And, Priyanka, who has won hearts with her brilliant performance in American TV series "Quantico," is set to make her Hollywood debut with "Baywatch." She will be seen playing the villain's character and will share screen space with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
On the other hand, Anushka will be seen as a wrestler in "Sultan." This is the first time Salman and Anushka will share screen space. Anushka will also appear in Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan. In the romantic drama, Anushka will be shown belonging to a royal family in Karachi and the character of her love interest will be played by Fawad.
She will also feature as a ghost in her own production film, "Phillauri," and will star opposite "Udta Punjab" actor Diljit Dosanjh in this film.
