Ever since "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony in January, speculations regarding their wedding date have been doing the rounds.
Divyanka had recently confirmed that the marriage would take place in July. Now the Times of India has reported that the wedding will be a private affair and will take place in Bhopal (Divyanka's hometown) on July 8, followed by a reception in Chandigarh (Vivek's hometown) on July 10.
"The baraat will reach Bhopal on July 7 for the sangeet and the wedding is on July 8. We will leave for a reception in Chandigarh on July 10," Vivek told the daily. The couple also plans to host a reception in Mumbai for their friends from the television industry. "It will be a traditional wedding and a very close knit affair as we want to keep it private," Divyanka said.
According to a Daily Bhaskar report, the preparations for the big day are going on in full swing and Divyanka's mother and sister are taking care of every minute detail of the functions. "From wedding dress to playing host; Divyanka's family members are helping her in all the arrangements. They want Divyanka to remain stress free and enjoy every moment of the wedding. Also, there are lots of discussions happening between all the ladies on a daily basis. Once the shooting is done, Divyanka spares some time on her wedding plans," a source told the daily.
Divyanka's mother, Neelam Tripathi said that she is looking forward to the big day. "The preparations have already begun and I am really looking forward to it. We have just started the preparations and I am sure till the wedding day, our preparations will not end. All we have asked from Divyanka and Vivek is to give us one week so that whatever we plan, it goes accordingly," she said.
