Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam are set to share screen space for the first time in Sanjay Gupta's "Kaabil." Produced by Rakesh Roshan, the romantic drama will reportedly see the lead actors play the roles of visually impaired people.
Roshan took to his Twitter handle to announce the film. "Im looking 4ward 2 dis journey. #KAABIL- v r capable of much more than v can ever imagine. @yamigautam v r going 2 rock dis! @_SanjayGupta," he tweeted.
Gautam, on the other hand, is excited to work with Bollywood's Greek God. "I am very excited and feeling great to get such a huge opportunity. I am really lucky to have been paired with Hrithik. I am nervous to share screen space with him," she told the Press Trust of India.
"I have never met him before but have always loved his work. He is one of the biggest stars and I am sure he will be amazing to work with. I am really looking forward to it and would like to learn from him," Gautam added.
The "Sanam Re" actress also shared her excitement on her Twitter handle as well. Can't wait to commence this journey @iHrithik ! Super elated to be working with you ! Let's go !!" Gautam tweeted.
Meanwhile, Roshan and Gautam are busy with their respective projects. However, Roshan's injury has delayed the shooting of Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro," which is also affecting the schedule of "Kaabil."
In other news, fans are happy and eagerly waiting to see another fresh pair – Roshan and Gautam – romancing on the big screen. There were reports that the lead actress' role was first offered to Kareena Kapoor Khan, but she turned down the offer. Also, the film may feature Sunny Leone in an item number.
