Shah Rukh Khan teaming up with director Aanand L Rai for a film has got people talking. And, writer Himanshu Sharma giving a rough idea of its plot is only going to add to the excitement.
Confirming that the story involves a "little person," he told Catch News that the height of the character isn't the only focus of the plot. He added that it's a romantic drama and will leave the crucial details for the screen.
"You will be done with it in 30 seconds or may be 1 minute. How much can you dwell over that character? You have to come down to the main story and that's what I am fighting for. I hope I am able to write as good a film as I would like to see on screen. I am in the exploring phase right now," Himanshu told the web portal.
The film is expected to roll by December this year and will arrive in theatres Christmas 2017. According to reports, it may clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Sanjay Dutt biopic, which could star either Deepika Padukone or Kangana Ranaut in the lead.
In other news, SRK is gearing up for Maneesh Sharma's "Fan," which releases April 15. The thriller boasts of never-seen-before VFX work and stars Waluscha De Sousa and Sayani Gupta in key roles.
The superstar also has "Raees," the Rahul Dholakia directorial, lined up for release. It will reportedly chronicle the rise of a Gujarat-based bootlegger (played by the 50-year-old actor). Scheduled for an Eid release, the thriller-drama may clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan."
"Finished Raees. Maybe a bit of patchwork left if any. Will miss the laughs...the intensity & the kohl. Thx to the sweetest unit ever. Lov u," SRK tweeted.
