Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, who was at the second position on the 2017 Forbes India Celebrity list, couldn't make it to the top 10 this year because of no movie release in 2017.
While Salman Khan topped for the third consecutive year, the Zero actor fell out of the top 10 list. His earnings were down 33 percent this year, at Rs 56 crore from endorsements, placing him at rank 13 on the list.
However, the King Khan is least bothered about failing to get into the top 10 list of the richest Indian celebrities.
When Shah Rukh Khan was asked about his thoughts on losing his position, he told Khaleej Times, "In the last 3-4 days, I have found out that I have fallen out of a magazine's list of rich people. I've become dearer on Twitter and poorer according to the (Forbes) survey. I just hope with this film (Zero) I become nearer! So dearer, poorer and nearer in one day. Look at the life of a star!"
The 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List rankings are based on estimates of entertainment-related earnings of celebrities. The period under consideration is October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.
