After quitting "Comedy Nights With Kapil," comedian Kapil Sharma is set to make a comeback with his new show. Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Navjot Singh Sidhu will also be seen entertaining the audience along with Kapil.
A few days ago, the first look of the team members was doing the rounds on social media and all of them were seen dressed up in stylish black suits. In an exclusive video by ABP Live, Kapil Sharma is seen talking about his new show and the promo that features him and his team members.
He said that Sony TV is coming up with an awesome comedy show and he hopes that his fans would appreciate the work. Kapil and his team members have shot the promo, which will be released soon. In the promo, the entire team, except Sidhu, will be seen walking in style towards a helicopter. Later, Sidhu will take the helicopter and leave them behind with an auto-rickshaw.
"Mazaak mazaak mein Sony TV ne bahot kharcha kar diya hai. Ab hamein bahut tension ho rahi hai (Sony TV has spent a lot of money on the promo, now we are a bit tensed)," Kapil told ABP Live in their exclusive video.
Ever since Krushna Abhishek's "Comedy Nights Live" replaced Kapil's show on Colors, the latter's fans have eagerly been waiting for the stand-up comedian to make a comeback.
There were rumours of Kapil's new show being titled "Comedy Style," as mentioned by a Facebook page by the name of Sunil Grover. However, Sunil later rubbished the rumour on Twitter and clarified that the Facebook page was fake.
Earlier, there were reports that Shah Rukh Khan will be the first guest on Kapil's new show. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Virat Kohli have also reportedly been finalised.
