Junior NTR got emotional about his journey in the film industry, 15 years after the release of director SS Rajamouli's Student No. 1, which was released in theatres around the world on September 27 2001.

Junior NTR, who is not so active on social media, took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to talk about his journey in the Telugu film industry. He said that things have changed in his as well as director SS Rajamouli's lives, who he fondly addresses as Jakkanna, but their relationship, which began with Student No 1, has remained the same.

The Janatha Garage star tweeted: "15 long years. From a budding directer to being one of India's most respected directors my jakkanna has come a long way. 15 long years.from a 19 year old boy to being a father today the journey has been the most memorable. 15 long years.but what remains the same is our friendship which started with STUDENT NO-1."

Student No.1 is a coming of age musical film featuring Junior NTR and Gajala in the lead roles and has been a landmark film in the career of the actor and the director. The film marked SS Rajamouli's debut as director and it was the second film for the actor. However, it was the first big hit and first break for both and hence has a special place in their hearts.
