Hrithik Roshan may have been missing from the big screen for a while now, but his fans haven't forgotten him and his star power has definitely not diminished. Why do we say so?
A fan, Rahul Raj, had bought 70 tickets to an early morning show (Aug. 12) of "Mohenjo Daro." According to BollywoodLife, guesses are he must have done it to ensure the film gets a good opening at the box office.
"Mohenjo Daro," unfortunately, doesn't have the luxury of a solo run at the ticket window and is facing stiff competition from Akshay Kumar's "Rustom." While the hype around the latter is massive, Hrithik's epic-adventure film hasn't been able to make a major impact through its promotional campaigns.
However, what's interesting to note is, leading actors of both the films are unfazed by the box office battle. They are embracing it instead and treating the situation like two mature people who believe in healthy and fair competition.
They have been promoting each other's films on social media and was recently joined by Twinkle Khanna (Akshay's wife), who posted:
"Wishing my friendly neighbourhood SpiderMan @iHrithik all the best today-Here's to #MohenjoDaro and #Rustom both doing well:)."
Meanwhile, "Mohenjo Daro" actress Pooja Hegde gave her two cents on the clash and it made so much sense. She said that it's a long weekend, which is why one can watch both the films.
"Competition's good. All I have to say is that it's a long weekend guys. Watch Both the films. Why is it that you have to pick one (film)? Watch both the films and I'm sure they'll (audience will) enjoy both the films," she told the web portal.
