Jennifer Lawrence, the most outspoken A-list actress in Hollywood, said in an interview that her rumoured boyfriend, director Darren Aronofsky, is a "visionary". Starring in his next movie, Mother, Lawrence said that she was enthusiastic about being part of the project.
"I accepted the role even before reading the script," the 26-year-old actress said in an interview with the Vanity Fair. Mother is a home-invasion horror movie directed by Darren Aronofsky, which was shot last summer in Montreal and is set to release in 2017. The Hunger Game actress has not accepted nor denied the fact that she is dating the Black Swan director.
Apart from sharing her opinion about Aronofsky, in the interview, Lawrence also shared that her biggest struggle has been privacy. "You might think you know me, but when you approach me you're a total stranger to me and I'm scared. I get very protective of my space. It took me a long time to be able to do that. But if I'm eating dinner and somebody comes up and a flash goes off from someone's iPhone camera, I am really rude to that person. Then other people at the restaurant will see and be like, 'Oh, damn, I don't want to do that.' Privacy is a full-time job and I work very hard at it," she said.
Lawrence also opened up about how she became friends with Emma Stone. Lawrence and Stone met via mutual co-star Woody Harrelson, who appeared with Lawrence in The Hunger Games and with Stone in Zombieland and predicted their compatibility. "She texted me that she got my number from Woody and I replied, F*** off!' And we've been really good friends ever since," she shares. The two of them have texted every day for a year after that. "I feel like it was our version of The Notebook—365 texts," she shares.
